Luke 4:1-13

I. Expect a serious attack when undertaking serious kingdom work.

II. Expect a serious attack when you are alone.

III. Expect a serious attack when physically depleted. (v3-4)

IV. Expect a serious attack when materially depleted. (v5-8)

V. Expect a serious attack when spiritually depleted. (v9-12)

VI. Fight to defeat the attack as Jesus did:

A. Dependent on the Holy Spirit

B. Saturated with the Scripture

C. Sustained by prayer and fasting
