JOIN A BIBLE STUDY: Currently, our women's ministry has a couple of options for women who want to study God's Word with other women:

Women in the Battle is for women who are going through a wilderness experience in their lives. Whether a spouse has left, a child has wandered, or you are struggling with the ramifications of a difficult or abusive childhood, women gather for dinner and mutual encouragement and support on Tuesday evenings at 6pm. Becoming Women of Simplicity is a new study that launched on October 6th, 2009. We meet in Room 2 at Cool Community Church from 10am to noon. Childcare is provided. Please contact the church office or Robin Gibson for more information.

GET INVOLVED IN SPECIAL EVENTS: Keep aware of our upcoming special activities and events by checking our Church Calendar periodically. We love getting together for "Ladies' Night Out" events, sharing craft time and snacks together. Women's weekend retreats each fall give us a great opportunity to get away from all our responsibilities at home.

Bring That Baby Home is an ongoing project that the women of our church have plunged themselves headlong into! On October 17th, our women will gather at the church auditorium to make craft items of all kinds--bring your favorite specialty items to create. At the end of our afternoon, we will donate all that we make to the Martinelli family to sell at a craft faire coming up in November. The money generated will provide funds for the Martinelli's to fly to China and stay the obligatory two weeks when it is time to adopt their precious new baby.

Christmas Tea is on December 5, 2009. Tickets are $10 and includes a lovely catered dessert and tea. Our guest speaker is Vicki Quirarte, sharing with us about "The Greatest Gift Ever Given."
